A lot of beauty products with CBD have been coming across my desk as of late. I became familiar with CBD beauty products back in the winter and most recently with tinctures and fruity-flavored gummy chews, which help manage stress, calm the body and support overall wellness. Don’t worry, they’re not the pyschoactive ingestibles and contain no THC, the chemical you find in marijuana. These over-the-counter products contain CBD extracted from the hemp plant, so they’re healing and calming, help address stress, skincare issues such as acne and Rosacea, sleep problems and aches and pains.
There are so many CBD beauty product options these days, from serums to body bars to powders to drops, all aiming to heal and calm.
Here are a few CBD beauty products I am currently loving:
Healist Naturals is a line of clean and natural products with high levels of organic broad spectrum CBD that are focused on helping you relax, help minimize muscle aches and sleep better. I’ve tried their Calm Chews a few nights during quarantine and like how it helped ease my mind. I’ve also tried their sleep tincture, a mix of CBD and lavendar, chamomile and lemon balm extracts and had a great sleep without feeling groggy the next day. Vertly Green CBD Face Serum is one of my favorite serums that I use nightly. It’s not greasy like other face oils and contains 24 botanicals and 300mg of organically grown CBD. Vertly products are made in small batches in Northern California, all with high-quality ingredients. This daily botanical serum calms my skin and keeps it moisturized, even when I use harsh products such as exfoliants and retinol.
Gentle Jane is a brand infused with high levels of CBD and superfoods such as avocado, marula and chia seed oils, all made in small batches on the west coast. I’ve been using the Superfoods and CBD Soothing Stick on my hands, neck and shoulders and it’s been feeling nice and leaves my skin soft. I love how portable it is and find myself applying it throughout the day. I’ve also been adding in the Superfoods and CBD Glow Oil to my skincare routine and it feels really luxurious and calming. It leaves a lit from within glow, perfect for the no makeup look, which I have been doing during quarantine.
I’m almost done with my Cannuka Moisturizing Balm and finished up the body bar in the winter, but I still love using the Eye Balm. It’s super-moisturizing with vitamin E, shea butter and other hydrating oils, has a silky texture and helps with my puffy, tired eyes. In addition to CBD, Cannuka products contains Manuka honey from New Zealand, so it has antibacterial properties and also calming ingredients from the CBD.
